Amb. Nusura TIPERU, Head of Mission in the Republic of Türkiye is glad to announce that Uganda will showcase its coffee during Coffex Istanbul 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey, joining other countries like Indonesia.
All stakeholders like; MAAIF, MTIC, UCDA, MTWA & UTB are encouraged to take lead in the preparation of this, once in a while, opportunity to showcase Uganda, The Pearl of Africa’s Potential to the rest of the world in terms of our diversity.
The event will take place at the Halic Congress Center, Sutluce Mah. Karaagac Cad. No.19 34445 – Beyoğlu, Istanbul, Turkey. The exact dates for Coffex Istanbul 2024 have been announced to take place from June 27th to 30th, 2024. Uganda’s participation in the event aims to promote its coffee and increase its share in the global market .
Uganda was selected to showcase its coffee at Coffex 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey, for several reasons:
1. High-quality coffee: Uganda is known for producing high-quality coffee, particularly Arabica, which is in high demand globally.
2. Coffee production: Uganda is one of the top coffee producers in Africa and the world, making it an important player in the global coffee industry.
3. Diverse flavors: Ugandan coffee is known for its diverse flavor profiles, ranging from fruity to chocolatey notes, which will be showcased at Coffex 2024.
4. Export potential: Uganda is looking to increase its coffee exports, and participating in Coffex 2024 provides an opportunity to connect with potential buyers and expand its market reach.
5. Promoting Ugandan brands: The event offers a platform for Ugandan coffee brands to gain international recognition and promote their products to a global audience.
6. Turkish-African trade relations: Turkey has been strengthening its trade relations with African countries, including Uganda, and Coffex 2024 provides a chance to further enhance these ties.
